I haven't done them myself, but the guy that has the silver car in those photos is a local builder and I've seen his car. They look fantastic.

I've got a set of those NIB from when I had my MK IV on order. Since I purchased an MK II they won't fit. Let me know if interested I'll make you a deal.

Here are some pics of mine. I had them installed when repainting the car. My original plan was to consider also installing a belly pan. I added these to help remove trapped air in the engine bay. Since then I'm not sure I will follow through with the belly plan. So, I like the look, but not sure they are necessary now.

svassh, Mine is a MKII. Why do you think they won't fit? On the other hand... on a finished car you would have to cut through the hood and damage the paint, not many would be willing to do that. That's why I had them put on before repainting.

I've done 'em. Good bit of work to get the openings sized properly and finished well. And if you're going to do stripes you better do a preliminary lay out before you start cutting because the center of the hood isn't the center of the car.

Just because they list separate versions on their website for MK II, III and IV plus I don't want to cut my painted hood.

They sell a ton of other options too if you arent sure about those. I used a resized Corvette C5 style centered near the front of my hood
