What are the best size and type of stainless steel bolts used to mount the hood scoop?

Breeze sells them as a kit with either acorn nuts or nylon locknuts

The bolts in the Breeze kit mentioned were just a tad too short in my case. I sent them with my car to Jeff K for paint and Jeff ended up needing slightly longer bolts. This could have been just my case, but wanted to put that out there.

Not unique to just you Dave. They should be 8-32 X 3/4”. Unless Mark has changed his kit uses 5/8” long which by the time you add a washer top and bottom isn’t long enough to engage the nylock on the nuts.

jeff, do you prefer your clients to have these preordered when they deliver their cars, or do you take care of it and just add it to the tab?
