Hi all,

Its that time again to think where we want to go next year for the 2012 East Coast Challenge Series. The track dates are still tentative so things will change. Here is what Im proposing for the 2012 East Coast Schedule. Thoughts??

(drop 2 single races)

March 23-25 = VIR
May 25-27 = NJMP Thunderbolt
June 15-17 = Road Atlanta
June 30-July 1 = MidOhio
Aug 18-19 = Summit Point

Please note, Sept 5-9 = NASA Nationals 2012

I've put together all of the ECS regions (NASA Ne/MA/GreatLakes/MW/South/FL) we run:

Also since I have the option of sending my folks on vacation with the RV/race car (they always seem very happy to oblige,) I was also thinking of running Sebring March 31-April1. Just think Sebring with 320hp!

There is a severe lack of southern tracks on that list.

Marty,

I think he means June would be Atlanta not Wisconsin. I don't think there is a Road America race in June.

Add like to add two suggestions.

1) If Sebring doesn't work out the April 14-15 date at Roebling would be fun. We could enjoy downtown Savannah nightlife Saturday Evening.

2) Oct 20-21 - AMP. This is a brand new track.

Trust me, Id love to do a whole bunch of events but we must balance out vacation/traveling/$$ to do these events to ensure we get participation. Limiting ECS to 4 or 5 events ensures people are willing and able attend these events.

btw, Ive added the MidOhio date.

Sorry guys, I meant to post this earlier. If you register for road Atlanta before tomorrow you will get a $150 discount.

Looking over the proposed schedule Im not liking the back-to-back Road Atlanta and Ohio with only 1 weekend between the events. What do you all think about this? (Moved Summit to April, and MidOhio to August, having no events in July)
