Blueprint 427LS questions

Hello All

Trying to get some info from Blueprint but not getting a response. My 427LS came with 6 quarts of break-in oil. I'm "assuming" that all 6 quarts need to be added to the engine but to me, that seems a little low for an engine of this size. Before I go dumping it all into the engine and reading the dipstick to see, has anyone else recently pre-lubed this engine ? How many quarts did you use ? Wondering if I need to get more break-in oil.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oil capacity is pretty much determined by the pan size/style. My LS1 takes 6 qts. Dump in 5 qts, run it, then check it. If it needs another one put it in. It will be fine.
