Typical Body Fitment Question ?

Hi all,

Trying to wrap up my gross body fitment before final body/paint.

I have the driver door as dialed in as possible. I assume the radius mismatch in the front and the lower extension (to the dash lip) is typical ?

Also installed the trunk gasket and post previous rough fitting with spacers. The gasket make the lid sit high to the body. It this typical ? Any suggest on how to remedy (thin/lower the body lip ?) ?

Door mismatch is typical. Proper bodywork will correct that:

The trunklid is just a matter of adjustment. The hinges need be adjusted with the gasket installed.

Thanks Jeff (as always).

I have the trunk hinges adjusted as low (hinge toward the lid) as possible and it will not suck the lid down (i.e. compress the gasket).
