I'm interested in building a coupe and before I do, I'd like to look at one in person and maybe sit in it and see how I fit and how practical this might be. Is there anyone in the southern Delaware area that wouldn't mind showing me their coupe? I also travel to the Philly area for work every once in a while so I can make a trip up there as well.

Thought I replied but here again, we’re in New Castle just south of the DMV at Alderman automotive. We have. Gen2 coupe, drivable but not sure of its fit over the gen3. It’s together, running and waiting to be painted. We are not going to finish it to the extent of its being a show car.
There is a gentleman in Ocean View Delaware who has what I think is a Gen1 or 2 that he bought finished and I’m sure he’d be happy to show it to you.
Let me know if I can be of more assistance.

I am in Milton. Sorry, no coupe but a Mark IV . I only know of a Gen1 coupe that is in Rehoboth. I've been involved with FFRs since '99. If you would like to chat about FFR, let me know.

Hi Olli - We are moving to Middletown, DE in the fall, and I'm planning on a Mk5 build. Be interested in hearing your recommends and thoughts in terms of getting the vehicle registered and if there are any specific tips to think about as I spec out my parts list. I saw the prior post on the reference to the DE registration link. Do you have any insights on whether MK5 would be covered under the 'street rod' category? Thanks -- Jim
