Hello
First build and am making slow progress as I work around parts shortages and back orders. FFR has been very helpful and except for the lower control arm castle nuts I’m ready to put wheels on the build.
The manual says the wheels on the model were from 18x8 from Wheelsmith. Since the body isn’t together cannot make the necessary measurement for back space etc. required to order the rims.
I plan to use smoothies rather than the spoke wheels but need help in ordering the right rims. My build in front has the Factory Five spindles with 11-inch rotors and rear axle is from 2014 Mustang with 12-inch rotors.
Appreciate any ideas.

FWIW -- I have Wheelsmith spoked wheels on my truck build. Confirmed the specs with another builder who used them and also knew what Factory Five had. My specs are:

18" diameter, 8" width
5 on 4.50" lugs (also includes 4.75")
5.00" backspace (max they offer)

Note I have the same on all four corners. No stagger. For tires, I'm using (4) Continental Contisportcontact 2 245/45ZR18. For this setup, installed 1 inch spacers front and rear to clear the brakes. Also as recommended. Mine are Wilwood so maybe you won't have the same issue. But the 1 inch spacer with these wheels also puts the tire edge right at the fender edge if you're installing fenders. Just right.

I have full fenders on my 35 truck. I used Rocket Racing Hypershot Wheels: 18 x 8” front with 5.0” backspacing (added 1” spacer for more inner fender clearance) and 18 x 11” rear with 7.0” backspacing. I used Nitto NT555 G2 tires – 245/45 ZR18 front and 285/40 ZR18 rear. If I were to do it over, a 4” backspacing on the front would eliminate the need for a spacer, and 275/40 ZR18 tires on the rear would give me a bit more clearance on the sides. If you are not running fenders, you have much more flexibility.

Thank you for the info. I plan to use the 1" spacer to clear the calipers. Will order a 5" back space rim . I want to keep the tire inside the fender.
