Freshening up an MK 2 new carpets, belts and floor mats

My winter project has been freshening up the rather worn and aged interior on my MK 2 in time for the Texas Cobra Meet end of the month. This weekend I redid the interior carpet and put in my new floor mats. Still in line at the upholstery shop to have the seats redone in leather and have to pull the dash to redo the vinyl, add a glovebox and clean up the wiring.

For older MK models the floor mats are still available custom order from CarCoverPlanet.com. I ordered mine on Feb 20th and they arrived yesterday. I believe they must have been the OEM provider for F5 as quality is great. You can get them in different colors also. I changed my carpet color to graphite so I ordered charcoal floor mats.

Good find. I always forget to Scotchgaurd mine and the drivers side gets pretty dirty fast.

Nice find on the carpets, looks great! Some day I’ll get around to this too. Definitely like the graphite / charcoal.
