Looking at having my seats re-upholstered and the shop asked me if anyone sold replacement covers for them to decrease cost.

These are the low back roadster seats. Anyone aware of a source would seem to be a lot cheaper than sourcing new seats due to shipping cost?

Did they quote you to reupholster the seats? Should be cheaper than getting new ones unless you happen to find some for cheap. I found a buddy some new vinyl low backs for $200 last year on the forums

I'm still looking for a pair of leather roadster seats, without much luck.

I'd be curious to know what your trim shop wants to re-upholster your seats?

So the upholstery guy I am using quoted me $200 each for vinyl or $400 each for leather seating surfaces and vinyl backs. I think I will do the leather option as it's still half what a new set of leather seats from F5 is and they are only leather on the seating surfaces also.

Any synthetic leather options? Real leather will age quickly in an open top car. My upholsterer had an option like MB tech

Yours must spend a lot more time out of the garage than mine does.

That's precisely the reason I want real leather :-). Love the look of aged leather, especially in a vintage car.
