Hello Gents!
Can someone guide me on where to purchase the grommet that goes from the filler neck to the tank? I have a Mark 3.1.

Get a FORD replacement part. Be sure to put some lube on the part before tank installation and putting the filler tube in.

Thanks Steno, I'll make sure it's Ford.
Not sure what year to google to get the right part number. Any advice?

Well seeing as FFR has always used Mustang gas tanks from the Fox body era
Ford F4ZZ9072DA Fuel Tank Filler Neck Grommet Seal.
You can find it on Amazon.

Ford F4ZZ9072DA Fuel Tank Filler Neck Grommet Seal.
You can find it on Amazon.
Isn't it an issue that the non OEM seals are the leakers? I don't think you can get Ford part on Amazon.

Whenever I want to be sure I'm getting a genuine Ford part I go to Tasca:

... or actually go to a Ford dealer

I got a Ford Gasket on Amazon. All sorts of businesses including parts suppliers also sell there. You can go to a dealer as well. Easy part to get a hold of.

True, you can but there's no guarantee that you will. This is a common problem with Amazon, where a "genuine" item is advertised and then a generic is substituted. One estimate I heard is that >95% of all Apple accessories sold on Amazon are counterfeits. Sometimes that's fine. Other times you really want the real thing.

That's the part number. You can buy it somewhere else other than Amazon. Make sure it's OEM.

I bought one just three months ago from Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Q6QO7C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Just don't go with the Doorman part.
Dang! Those got pricy. I just looked at my order from Amazon in November of 2019. I paid $18.19.

Just an observation, it looks like the bolt that holds the panhard bar bracket into the left side frame rail is missing.

I think I know what he looking at, but yours is welded in place on the back of the 4" tube, so no bolt needed.

55 cars and I have only ever had one leak......because it cut when Put the tube in.
You don't need to spend $50 for a $5 part.
Just get new one and be careful putting the tube in.
1987-1993 Mustang filler neck to tank gasket is what you need.

Nothing is missing. As John Shu said it is welded on a Mk3 (Mk4s are bolted)

Dude, why are you buying parts to replace parts that will be included in a kit that you don’t even have yet?

There have been a number of threads stating the issues with the supplied part. I know that you have followed my thread so you know that I am working on an unknown deadline. I may not have the pleasure of spending time replacing a bad part. If I were younger/healthier I would not spend the money on a number of the upgrades that I have. I live life between doctor visits 4 months at a time. I have to approach this as having one shot at it. If that means spending $50.00 for a $5.00 part I am ok with that.:)

I can attest to the Amazon supplied part too. Mine came in Ford packaging and comparing it side by side with the failed gasket it was obviously superior to the one I got from FFR.

I have bought several of them from Rock Auto.com and every one was a genuine Ford Motorcraft Part. They were also not very expensive, but at the moment I forget what the exact price was.

I did this job on my Mustang a few years ago with the one from LMR, no issues, only $15.
