Rear Hatch seal

So question, the rear seal looks like it folds in half, one part on the side and the other on the bottom, but it seems this would be visible on the outside of the glass?

You mean in the body line gap around the glass?
Looking straight down through the glass, the seal would be pretty much covered by the black edge around the glass.
