A quick question for the group: what is the Main bolt torque rating? It’s the one holding in the harmonic balancer. I’m putting the front and back together of my sons 66 mustang that has a roller 302 in it. I would assume that I do not need any kind of thread locker?

Since nobody else has chimed in, it's 70-90 ft. lbs. according to "How to Rebuild Small Block Ford Engines." No thread locker on the bolt, but put a small amount of sealer (i.e. Permatex #2) on the crank and balancer keyway.

Also, if you have access to one, it's better to use a harmonic balancer install tool rather than relying on the bolt to pull the balancer down:

jab's numbers agree with my 1969 Chilton. I have never had problems with loosening. "I" would lube the threads and pull torque in ten pound increments from 60 until you get to 80. Be attentive to how it "feels" (not seizing or soft) you could go to 90 lb.
Also lube the extended shaft OD as it is going through a lip seal and should not be dry.
BTW that is known as the harmonic balancer retaining bolt.
