As I have never done this before, I just want to check if I have this right. I have put the Lower and Upper control arms on the front and am ready to put the spindles on. I just want to make sure that the Upper Arm ball joint should be about an inch behind the Lower Arm ball joint. Or should they be right over each other? Since the car moves forward 99.9% of the time I could see that an inch behind might provide more support, but I want to make sure. Attached is a pic of where I am at.
Unfortunately I am missing the spacer for the lower ball joints, the 4 - 50mm bolts for the arm to attach to the steering rack and the hub nuts, so I can't complete putting the spindles and hubs on.

Please let me know if it looks right.

The upper ball joint centerline will be behind the lower somewhat, this is called "caster", the spindle leans back.
Now, until you have it all assembled and properly aligned, it may be more or less than what you are currently looking at.
You're okay.

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed to know. Now I just need some parts. ;)
