Trying to get my hinge and door bolted onto the car but the inside of the hinge hits the body. I cut out the openings 1/4” off of the inside door lip and the body is mounted 1/4” off of the front vertical post as per instructions. I tried to post a picture of the situation but can’t figure that out either. Not my day I guess. Anyone have any insight on this. I think I need to move the body forward because the latch is quite far away from the door jam as well. The rear body mounts are moved all the way to the back of the slotted holes too. Any help would be appreciated.

I have had to trim the hinges where they hit. The hinge cutouts in the body are almost out to the edge of the body. This was the case on the last 2 I built.

Not 100% clear how you cut yours or where they're interfering. But I didn't have any trouble getting mine to fit, other than adjusting some the dimensions that Factory Five had in the manual. This picture is the LH side of mine FWIW. Two comments though. First, I don't recall that my rear mounts were all the way back as you described. Also didn't have any issue with the door latches, although they're not the same on each side. Asymmetry isn't a surprise with these bodies. Very important IMO is make sure the vertical part of the body at the front of the door opening (e.g. behind the door hinges) is at or near the frame upright. If there's a big gap there, the body may be too far back. Second, I hope you have the nose fitting and aligned properly. You should have the main body section and nose completed fitting before trying to fit the doors. Can't stress that enough.

Thanks for the tips guys I was thinking that I might have to trim the openings more but was hesitant to do so. I have the nose temporarily set in place but upon your instruction I will fit it in place with everything tightened down before I proceed any further. Thanks again for the advice gentleman!
