Hello FF fans. Just a quick intro. Live in the Tampa area and have been here since 2018, but originally from Wisconsin. I've admired the Cobra for a long time and my life is at a place now where I can afford and put the time into a Roadster build so late last week I ordered my complete kit. I've got a 95 donor Mustang GT, but it's in pretty poor shape so I don't want to reuse much of it, hence the complete kit ordered.
Looking forward to the build. I've got a thread going over on the Build subforum, but there isn't much so far. Just the engine tearout from the 95, but I promise i'll keep it going the entire build.
Also curious. How do I post full size pics to my build thread? I'm just posting thumbnails even though I'm uploading full sized pics.

Welcome to the madness MB! I’m in Port Charlotte if you need some incentive. I currently have 3 Roadsters and 1 coupe in the shop right now and 2 Roadsters at paint.

Check out this thread: https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?18962-How-to-use-the-Image-Gallery-to-embed-pictures-in-posts&highlight=upload+pictures
Basically you create an album, upload them, and then link to the pictures in the album.
Welcome to fun!!

Mb750, congrats on taking the plunge! I’m just up the road in brooksville. I’m hoping to order a kit next year once my business is paid off. There are several builders around. Tampa33 has an awesome 33 he’s nearing completion. Both Henry (65 cobra dude) and Wallace 18 are great guys and have taken the time to answer some of my questions. Henry’s garage is well worth the trip. You may also want to look at the Deep South cobra club for upcoming events and contacts. They’re based in Tampa as well. I can lend a hand turning wrenches if you need an extra set of hands as well.
Best of luck

Cool, thanks for the offer. At this point it's all powertrain rebuilding but once the car gets here I may need a hand here and there. I'll pay in beer and BBQ if those are acceptable currencies for you.
