I could easily have assembled something incorrectly… I’ve got interference between the lower part of the rear shock and the mounting bracket. Happens with either side up. Sorry the pictures came through sideways. Help?

mine were close but no interference. try putting the spacers in to see if that helps.

Easy fix for the red Koni shocks is to simply flip them and put the body down with the spring up. Here is a link to a discussion on this in my build thread:

If the axle is positioned for a reasonable pinion angle, the shock body will easily clear the bracket. Remember, the shock isn't centered at the bottom, but with the proper spacer it is pushed right to the outer edge of the bracket.

Paul,

If you need more shock room then there are other options so don't fret.
The red shocks can be flipped and you can move the top of the shock back a bit.
You can see what I did 42-45 seconds into the attached video:

Not to be redundant but I had the same issue. Red part up top, space the bottom mount as far to the rear as you can with spacers, washers, etc. and when you adjust you pinion angle it will come together.

Additionally you have the top of the shock leaned forward in its mount bracket. It can go rearward maybe an inch.

Once I corrected the pinion angle by cranking in the upper link, and flipping the shock, all was right with the world. Thanks, everyone!
