162551162552I’d like to invite anyone to venture down the rabbit hole to identify my cobra. I’ll offer a $50 reward to whoever can confirm it’s maker and year of production.
Here are some details I know.
1. It is a square frame.
2. It is a 92” wheelbase
3. The dash is molded with the body
4. It has a correct (early 60’s) 427” FE with 4speed top loader
5. It has a Ford 9” rear end converted to independent rear suspension with dual coil over springs on each end and inboard disk brakes.
5. It has coil over front shocks and old style disk brakes ( can’t identify make of calipers )
6. It has dropped floor pans ( fiberglass ), which makes it very comfortable to drive even for those over 6’
7. It has true 15” Halibrand pin drive wheels.
8. It has a California vin plate and SB100 sticker.

I can send any specific photos for help.

Could it possibly be a Unique or maybe an old Contemporary Cobra?

I wish I knew, but don't have a clue.

Good Luck & I Hope This Helps!

No idea who made that car but if no one here can ID the car, head over to clubcoba.com. They have all sorts of makes over there, whereas this site is a more or less dedicated Factory Five community.

my guess 1979 butler cobra?

Several people suggested that, but someone else said they did not think Butler did a 92” wheel base??
