Door Latch Pin Hole Repair?

Hi folks. The new door latches for my MKIV haven't been delivered yet, so I don't know if this hole in my door latch area is critical or not. Does anyone think this needs repair? Looks like it was highlighted by someone at Factory Five before shipping (circled in silver marker).

It's supposed to be like that and in fact may need further relief so that the rotating part of the latch doesn't bind on the fiberglass.

I can't believe they sent it to you that way. Should be opened up to the outside edge of the white line..... Ok, just being a cheese weeny..... Like Kleiner said. you're fine, save it for final tweeking...da Bat
