Accelerator cable

I'm changing out the stock cable on 2290. I want to replace it with a Lokar cable but I'm not sure what length to use. I read in the past some used a 36 inch and others used a 42 inch. Which one do I need?

If the length of the one you are replacing is good, and your not needing to change the routing of it, why not measure it?

42 gives just a nice bit of extra so the bends aren't so tight.
