Hi all,

Sorry for bombarding today. I am ordering switches and other stuff to experiment with before the arrival of my kit.

I'd like a cruise control (going with EFI) and there are plenty of aftermarket options people swear by. However, I'd like to power them using lucas-style switches for period correctness.

Is that something anyone has done? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I want to very strictly maintain the look of 427 competition. But Off-ON-spring-ON switches exist and I'd love to use them for OFF-SET-RES, but I am not sure if any of the aftermarket systems have switches that are swappable.

EDIT: They sent me a wiring diagram. It seems like I should totally be able to wire it using a couple of Lucas-style switches:

EDIT 2: I talked to the supplier who was super helpful and we worked out a wiring diagram that should work with lucas style switches.

Some have gotten the period correct ash tray and put the switches in there. I personally put the switches on the far left end of the dash underneath the wing of the drivers door. It’s easy to get to and is invisible for most purposes.
