So my Coupe was delivered on Thursday, February 3! I just started going through the inventory.
Most notable delayed/missing parts:
Power steering assembly
Front lower control arms
Steering wheel
Carpet kit
Assorted other minor bits and pieces
Anyone know if after market tubular Mustang lower control arms will work given that the stock lower arms can be used?
I have my eye on these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMR-AA035H?addwishlistsku=BMR-AA035H
BMR Suspension AA035H - BMR Suspension A-Arms
Also, how long is typical for the late stuff to show up? FFR asked me to wait 15 days before asking about status of delayed items.
Thanks.

You're in that big of a hurry for the arms?
Lots of other stuff can be done before you would have to have them.

No, not really. If I need to wait a month or two, no big deal. If I have to wait 6+ months, I want a plan B. I'd just as soon get started with aftermarket. I'll pass the FFR control arms to some other poor soul who's waiting.
I'm more curious if those arms are a viable option.

Fyi, I received my kit in early Nov. and had the control arms in about 30 days. The hold up at that time was the bushings. Still quite a few critical things missing but doing my best to keep making progress.

Won’t work. No provisions for the coil over.

I got my kit Nov 19, and still do not have the control arms. My POL list, probably, looked a lot like yours. The only POL item I have gotten, so far, is the radiator.

Yeah, that's a good point, wouldn't work because of that, if nothing else.

So I guess the coil over kits for the mustang attach to the stock spindles?

I don’t know what Mustang coilover kits do but for our cars the coilover attaches to the LCA.

Mustang has struts with no upper a-arms, coil over kit fits over the struts.
The spindles FFR has are based on SN95 Mustang spindles, but is a modified design for upper and lower a-arms and coil over shocks.

Wow some of you have got your kit in November and have lower control arms. I got my kit late October just got the upper arms about a week ago still no lower control arms. No steering, no rear suspension, got everything for the coil overs except the Delrin washers. Little things keep trickling in like radiator and headliner. Never know what will show up next.
