Do you all know what this plug, in/under my center console, does?
Trying to complete a car I didnt build, and this is the next (of many) rabbit holes I am working with.
Thanks in advance

That's the connector to an automatic transmission. What transmission does the car have in it?

The car currently has 6 speed manual.
Thanks for the lead. Now I have a better place to research and, if I am very lucky, I can label what this is and that its not needed.
The previous seemed to do acceptable work
Splices are good.
Fairly good layout.
His documentation is, hmm, well....
His documentation frequently is a piece of Blue Masking tape or a piece of Silver Duct Tape. The tape may, but frequently does not, have a letter or two written on it, but thats all.
Lots of reverse engineering going on.

Just being overly paranoid before I mount the dash.
The round plug in post # 1. the "That's the connector to an automatic transmission"
As this is a GTM, LS1 with a G50 transmission, that plug is not needed/used in this setup, correct???
I am not planning to remove the connector, I have found two different relays wired to this connector.
I THINK they are both wired incorrectly, but before Tonga uses rock and bang bang removes those two circuits, I just wanted to double check.
One of the circuits seems is the dome lights, and no the dome lights dont work.
The second circuit seems to be nothing. Its just wired as the trigger for a relay and does not go anywhere.
