i am thinking of having my frame color changed to silver. checked yesterday and the guy said he cannot guarantee due to the prep that was originally done but if they did a good job on my black at F5R then i should be good. cost about $300 . . . .
on a side note, those FR500 wheels are what i was planning do you or anyone know how much they weigh? i am planning on 17x9 front (275s) and 17x10.5 rear (315s). are they comparable to F5R halibrands or are they heavy chinese type? thanks, jake

Not sure on the weight but LMR would probably know-they are not heavy. These wheels will need the smaller calipers (FFR fronts fit but you'll have to get smaller ones from Gordon Levy for the rear for them to fit. The good news is that those calipers will fit the 15" Halibrands. I'm waiting on my 15" from FFR so I can have real billboard tires for car shows and then the LMR wheels/tires for driving.

Those wheels look great, looking back on my build wish I would have gone that route. Congrats on moving forward with your build!

Oh man, that looks fabulous. Maybe if Wilwood ever gets around to shipping my front brakes I can get my build rollin' too.

You might trial fit the trunk sheet metal to see if those clamps and filter, regulator are going to clear.
I may be looking at it wrong, but better to check it now. Also, make sure you can access the filter without turning the car upside down.

Everything fits. The sheet metal is about 1 inches plus away from the brake lines.
