Does anyone have a fix for yellowing on the Halibrand wheels. Since they are clear coated I'm not sure if there is anything that will safely take out the yellowing without removing the clear coat layer.

Do you own a dog? Get rid of him.

Wouldn’t take care of the stains already there.

The clear coat will be powder coating, so should be tougher than paint, so I would try use some polishing compound.

Thank you. If the stain doesn’t go deep into the clear coat it may work.
How long have you had the wheels? If it's a manufacturing defect, maybe FFR can help you work it out with the manufacturer?

I actually just purchased the vehicle. I don’t even have it yet. It should get here within the next two days from Miami. It is the 2018 SEMA Daytona Coupe build. I’m guessing the staining is either from brake dust that wasn’t cleaned off in a timely manner or possibly an acidic product that could have been used for cleaning. I have researched this and there are a few threads out there on multiple different forums. Unfortunately there is no consensus on a fix. It seems to be common to clear coated polished rims.
Thank you,
James

jmsrx, The dog comment threw me off just after you posted. Spray wheel cleaners work well, some are formulated for metal, some for paint (clear coat).
If the stain is iron from well or splash, a phosphoric acid will clean it off. POR Metal Prep or even coca cola might be strong enough.
