Hey @Crawleyscobra, tell me about the exhaust. Looks amazing. Is it powder coated? Painted?

zee,

Thanks.

It's AutoZone VHT 2000* silver spray paint, and it matches the stripe color fairly well.

They started off with silver ceramic coating and had some shine to them. But after several years of driving they started to get some road rash.
I decided that I did not want to have to take the pipes off every few years and have them re-coated. I wanted an easier, less expensive approach to keeping them nice looking.

So I decided to try the spray paint and have been very pleased. I have had a few mishaps where things have scratched them, melted on them and such.
All I do is prep the area (and of course cover the entire car) and re-paint and they look fine again, for pennies on the dollar of re-coating.

Nathan-

Congratulations on the win -- and the recognition! Your car is terrific looking, and as others have said, the color is outstanding!

However, I have a beef... We need some more pictures; a car that nice deserves to show off a little bit!!

Sincere congratulations, I know you must be proud!

Regards,

Steve

They put me in the, "Production Road Racer class".

I have no idea how or why and what that even means. This was a completely new experience.

Interesting. The ISCA shows I've displayed at (Detroit Autorama) put me in Handbuilt Sports. But a couple buddies have had their Cobra replicas in Production Road Racer. Either way, it works. Agree, it's an interesting experience. Again, congrats.
