Does anybody have any experience or thoughts on the FFR Coyote headers? Searched the forum but didn't find anything.

May I ask why you powder coated them? Is it for aesthetics or does it provide functional benefits?

Lidodrip,

Thanks for the pics. I have the non-cat version on order. I was concerned about quality after a vendor told me they were made overseas.

They seem well made to me, I have no regrets about getting them.

I ended up ordering the Coyote headers with cats; however, when at the factory, Mike mentioned that FFR had converted all headers to the ball flange. For the cat version, the cat is inboard of the four-into-one collector. He said they converted a while back, which is strange seeing as you ordered your kit not THAT long ago. We'll see.

I received my cats about a month ago and they also look like the ones above. No ball flange.

Thanks all, that helps. I'm a little surprised i received a very detailed WRONG answer while at the factory, but no worries. Still would have gone with cats inc ase I move to a more restrictive state for registration purposes.

I happened to notice this when installing my cats this weekend - looks like they are made in the USA. They fit great.

On the topic of these headers, are y'all getting gaskets for them? FFR manual don't mention gaskets anywhere in the coyote install instructions but it feels so weird to install a header with no gasket.

My FFR Coyote header/cats came with OEM Ford gaskets and replacement bolts to use in place of the factory studs which tend to be too long.

May I ask for a picture of what your gaskets and bolts look like?

The gasket part number is Ford FR3Z-9448-A, they are multi-layer metal gaskets. The bolts are already installed, but they are marked 01VK 8.8. Sorry, I don't have pictures of either.
