A couple of laps around Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA.

I've not been to this track much and still don't really 'know' it. I find it generally unnerving in that is has a few blind rises and off-cambers sections- a challenging racetrack.

In the video, the main camera is behind the rearview mirror - up high where I wish my eyes were.

Top speed on the main straight is just over 120 mph.

A nice day in January wearing a T-shirt.

Wheels are FR500 types in the front (275mm tire) and Rocket Racing Attacks in the rear (315mm tire).
Running my quiet pipes just because.

Thanks for for continuing to share your fun with us. I hope to be doing this in a year. Our local track has two blind turns, one very similar in blindness to the bad one in your video. I have a heck of a time trusting the car and myself. If you have a chance to get an instructor in the car with you that knows the track, that will help more than anything in my experience.

Dave,
Car looks good on the track. My local tracks, Gingerman and Grattan, have a few blind hills or corners, keeps you on your toes and forces the reliance on "faith".
Looks like a great track.

GT_Rich: that is good advice and I did have an intructor in the car for one session (my choice and option) with a 2-way radio setup. It was certainly worth it.

Very nice camera work. I put it on big screen and felt like I was riding with you. Good driving too.

Very cool! Great video, I made it out there last year as well on the 4.8 mile track (both sides), you were definitely pushing it much harder than I was. Awesome experience driving these cars on the track, I am hoping to do it again this fall.
