I have a Mk4 roadster that is currently registered in New Mexico as a 1965 Cobra Roadster. We're spending most of the year in Florida but we return to New Mexico during the summer. I seem to remember some issues with an initial registration in Florida but I don't remember the details. Any issues with registering a Roadster in Florida that was previously registered in another state?
Thanks.

Walk in with your title, proof of insurance, Florida drivers license, walk out with plates and registration.
It really is that easy in Florida.

also better bring your car along as they will check your VIN number in person at a Florida DMV. Easy registration in Florida. Just registered my Factory Five Daytona Coupe yesterday

Did NM use the FFR frame number as your VIN or did they issue one of their own? IL issues their own VIN and rivets it onto the car. When I did mine the DMV personnel wanted to compare the VIN on the IL title to what was on the car. Other than that easy peasy!

Any out of state title has to be visually inspected in Florida on the car......our DOT office in New Smyrna even has a special parking spot for you to park in...Enjoy driving your Cobra year around down here!!!
