Hello All,
Been awhile since I was on here. Does anyone have a thread that shows and explains where the tube under the throttle body goes? Also, the other tubes I have capped, not sure if this is correct. I looked at the Gen 3 instructions and still missing the correct place. The Coyote is a crate from Ford and at first start had a bluish smoke and after tuning still had the smoke. After 20 miles it still has the smoke issue?
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Zach

Need the part numbers and where exactly to hookup the vacuum tubes F and I on Paul's picture of all of the tubes on the front of the Gen 3. Coyote is smoking when it warms up.

The picture just below the one you copied here shows F->I with an added "Y/T" in the hose that goes off to the fuel regulator. Paul mentioned he made the host with spare parts, so I doubt there is a specific part number for what you've pictured.

Assume you're looking at this post: https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?26630-Edwardb%92s-Gen-3-Type-65-Coyote-Coupe-59-Build-Complete-and-Graduated&p=351623&viewfull=1#post351623. F and I get connected together. With the optional vacuum tap for the fuel pressure regulator. All explained in the post and shown in one of the pictures.
I doubt this has anything to do with your engine smoking. Without "F" hooked up to vacuum source "I", the CMCV function won't be active. In fact, the PCM should throw some codes regarding that. But I don't think the CMCV actuators not working and adjusting the intake runners would cause it to smoke. Pretty common practice to lock them out by some builders and the engine still runs OK.
Sorry, can't help with part numbers. That hose with fittings (picture from my build thread) was made up with parts I had around from two Coyote builds and various leftover parts. I've heard they're carried by NAPA. Sorry, can't help any further on that one. Maybe someone else can.

Thanks Paul.
I was going to connect F and I together to see if the smoking goes away. No codes yet. Only have a few miles on it.

Thanks Jeff,
I was looking for connectors part numbers but he said they sell them at Napa. I can just run a line and see if the smoking when the engine gets warm goes away.

Smoking or not (which I doubt it changes, as I said) that connection needs to be made for the engine to operate as it's designed. Just do it regardless.

Paul,
That stopped some of the smoking after engine gets warm. Still a little when you blip the throttle. Maybe the tuner missed the tune a hair.
Thanks again for the help,
Zach
