I am interested in the Smiths gauges for the original look. They asked me what the Ohm Range of the sender was for the fuel gauge. Or if I wanted to buy their sender.

I don't know. Does the complete kit come with the sender?

The kit does come with a sender that operates from 16-158 Ohms.

You're welcome. I see from your other parts thread that you are in Canada, so please confirm with FFR that the complete Canadian kit includes the sender. If not, you can get the standard Fox body Mustang sender from just about any parts place.

Fortunately FactoryFive has vendors here that import everything we need to bring the base kit to a complete kit, so we don't have to hunt around. Due to Transport Canada rules, we can't just get a complete kit (kit builders must have pissed off some bureaucrat at some point :-)).

In practice, it just means we purchase stuff from two sources instead of 1. But the same vendors also deal with blueprint engines so we can get that stuff from a single place.

I'm also using the Smith gauges (all mechanical, except tach, Voltage and fuel gauge runs electronically) and my fuel gauge reads correctly. I know I was aware of the FFR's senders ohm reading when I ordered and I had confirmed that with an ohm meter during assembly. This was about 8 or 9 years ago.
