I've heard some mentioned in various build threads and videos, but wanted to crowdsource ideas for either part or procedure modifications that you made, or wished you had made, that would make living with a roadster easier from a maintenance perspective. Some examples that come to mind:


Battery relocation, or installing trickle charger posts at a convenient location
Using regular fasteners or rivnuts on some panels, e.g. ones around the transmission tunnel so they can be removed more easily

I made my trans tunnel cover easily removable by attaching it using this 3M product:

I think using rivnuts on the elephant ears is helpful for easy access to the engine bay from the wheel wells.

I also used the 3M product Dave mentioned to attach my dash. It comes off without messing with the body and allows for no screws in the dash cover.
