Shelby Daytona vs Monkeemobile?

I should be embarrassed to say it, but I'll say it anyway. Flipping through the channels the other day I landed on an old 1968 episode of the Monkees. Incredibly there is a race between the Monkeemobile and a real live Shelby Daytona. For those interested, here is a link to the back story behind the car, and the race video.

Too funny, 70s music - no rear duck tail spoiler and German Luftwaffe symbols on it. Kinda reminds me of Snoopy dog fighting the Red Baron.
