I am hoping that someone can provide some advice. I have a MK4 from 2015 and I have the stock brake setup on the rear. After several years I got tired of the huge amount of brake dust from the original pads provided by Factory Five. I took the rotors to my local garage and had them cut so the new pads would have a nice clean surface. I was told by Factory Five that the brake setup is from a 1995 Mustang Cobra and that the Pads for that vehicle would work. I ordered a set of pads from Summit and now when I try to install the new pads with the cleaned up rotors it seems like the pads are too thick. I did compress the caliper the whole way to get some extra room. No, good the caliper simply won't fit with the new pads. I need very little room to make everything fit. I don't mind buying new parts but I expect them to fit. Any suggestions.
Here are the PADS I bought Power Stop Z26-627A - Power Stop Z26 Street Warrior Carbon Fiber-Ceramic Brake Pads. I did check they do fit a 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra rear brake.
Many Thanks
Kevin
