Hello all, I am new here and looking to purchase a factory five 33 hotrod... I have reached out to factory five but appears I can't actually talk to someone, only email.
I am looking online all over for one and some have hardtops some are roadster only and some I assume may have both... I would like both so my question is...
If I find a roadster only can the hardtop be purchased or found used? If I find a coupe can the windshield assembly be pruchased or found used?
Same question for full fenders and engine side panels... thanks in advance.

There are aftermarket vendors that sell roofs, engine side covers and fenders / running boards - but some are not supporting vendors and can't be mentioned here. A Google search should turn up the usual suspects.
As far as the windshield, and really all the parts, they can probably be purchased from FFR. It's just that supply chain issues are making everything more difficult and time-consuming. Pre-Covid, FFR would be more responsive to telephone calls than to email, but I imagine that FFR is slammed on every front these days.
If you need more information, send me a PM so we can chat offline.

Thanks so much Keith... I'm actually heading out to look at my first one this morning and will more than likely have more questions after looking at it.
I will reach out after looking at it... thank you again. Robert
It seems you can no longer simply call and talk to someone at FFR like we used to do, you have to leave a message and hope they call you back or answer your emails. It took me several weeks to actually get a set of 33HR front fenders ordered because of this firewall their new customer communication policy has created. And after two-months I still don't have any idea when to expect them to ship.
The coupe hardtop is designed to be removable so you can convert the car into a roadster or back to a coupe. Seems to be a lot of work, unbolting the roadster windshield and bolting on a hardtop. I attached mine permanently. The top and fenders are normally available from FFR and it's best to order that with your kit. The top comes with power windows. Good luck finding them used from a builder, you may be waiting a long time for someone to decide they don't want the top or the fenders. If you're thinking that is going to save you $$, well good luck with that strategy and let us know how that worked.
If you want a car fast, look for one up for sale and you can always modify it to suit your needs. But pay close attention to build quality as there is a wide range of skill, talent, and attention to detail in the builder community.

Thanks for the response, I am not buying a kit and absolutely looking for a complete car, don't mind cosmetics and other than a flawless car I actually do plan to repaint as I'm in that industry and built lots of cars... just too old now for a complete build.
I have a few cars now and replacing a Gen 2 Viper with this purchase.
Only one 33 for sale I can see on this site and I've messaged him a few times with no response... heading out now to look at one in Mesa
Thanks again
