My electrician for our pool house/ second garage has decided we are low priority so I am lucky enough to have a brother who while not a certified electrician is a studio engineer and audio electrical engineer. So he came over and temporarily wire up my lift ( with the appropriate gauge wire for the circuit ) until the electrician can make it out. I was able to actually use it today and install the Breeze lower radiator hose bracket on the Boig return pipe. The next step will be to epoxy the floor and then start hanging stuff on the walls to irritate my wife ( she is into contemporary design with minimal clutter so I plan on hanging all types of Ford/ Cobra stuff on the walls LOL! ).

Question for the body guys. for rocker panel adjustment and side pipe hanging. I plan on driving in gel coat until my turn for paint comes around so I need to mount the side pipe hangers. I know that is set based on the rocker panels which have to final fit when the body is painted and fitted. Should I line it up as best as possible and mount them as I plan on driving in gelcoat for at least another 9-10 months or wait? Thanks in advance and pictures for your time....

Yep, go ahead and mount them! Easy enough to relocate them if it becomes necessary when everything is in it’s final position, which isn’t out of the ordinary.

Your shop is looking awesome, after replacing a clutch MC last week I was grateful I had a lift to do it on. I am finding these cars will more than likely always require something eventually, having a lift is a definite game changer and low back saver!

With the time saved installing the radiator hose bracket, that lift has almost paid for itself. I gotta get one.

Thanks Fman!!!!! Just trying to get my shop as cool as yours. I have got a long way to go. Need to build some work benches and get a second tool chest for this garage. My wife designed a loft ( she calls it a mezzanine overlooking the lift bay and above the second parking bay. My partner in my group is big into cars and Cobras and he says he can't wait to drink bourbon in the mezzanine while I wrench on my rigs LOL!

I walked under my Roadster and had the mount installed in maybe 10 to 15 minutes. LOL! I thought the same thing that if it was on the ground with jack stands it would have been so much longer doing that job and so much more difficult. I had so much time left over I was able to almost finish installing the Forte front sway bar kit ( Powder coated the brackets that were shipped in raw steel so that slowed me down ).

HA!!! Yea, he is a really good dude. I will have to install a TV up there so he can watch his team ( Ravens ) while I cuss and throw wrenches LOL!

LOL I think your shop is nicer than the inside of my house :-) Well done on that build, and when those floors get finished that will really finish everything off!

I bought a mid-rise lift and it has really saved my aging back.

A must have if you don't have a young back that you can wear out!
