For those that don't know, it's an adaptive control for those with a disability preventing them from operating a clutch with their foot. Demo to see what it does: https://youtu.be/oiXnVl_KZ70.
Seems like information about where to even buy it is nonexistent... I can't seem to find the USA distributor. It seems to change hands a lot. I reached out to a couple places, but haven't found anything solid yet. I was curious if anyone has used this or knows of a similar device, and where to get them from.
Thanks!

I installed one of these years ago in a Mark 3 It was pretty straight forward and worked very well. It was nice that you could still operate the clutch manually if desired. I remember the kit being from Italy.
The other option is an Auto trans.

Hi Mike, that’s really great to hear.
I asked about newer transmissions a couple years ago and got a pretty disheartening response regarding fitment in the coupe. I also know they’re completely unsupported by factory five. I thought this might be a relatively straightforward compromise when I learned about them.
I’ve been digging around the internet for a few weeks on this and can’t seem to find it… any chance you know where you purchased it from?

That Is Sooooo Freakingggg Coooooool!
My brother has hip and knee issues so driving his Hot Rod in traffic often wears him out.
How much space does it take up?
Is it under the dashboard?

I really dont remember any of the details. Pretty sure it all mounted under the dash and pushed on the clutch pedal. Dont remember where it came from but was a place that sold car stuff mor mobility impaired.

I heard back from MPS. They have them, but don’t recommend them for anything but small European cars. The issue is it only works with cable operated clutches and only has 70mm of pull. It’s not designed for stiffer style clutches. The person I spoke to redirected me elsewhere for a hydraulic clutch based solution. I’ll chase that lead down. Just to set expectations for this, this is in the multiple thousands range… it’s not likely to be a cheap solution.

I remember having issues getting it to operate the Ford clutch. In the end it worked but no idea how long it lasted after it left my shop.

Just a thought. Inquire with Mike Forte. He is rather inventive and has a ton of practical experience.
