Cobra Horn Wiring

I am wondering why the Complete Kit manual directs one to tie the chassis harness green wire (hot) and the small wire ground together into one connector as on page 314. I have very limited electrical background but know not to tie a hot and a ground together.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah that description is a little confusing. You're right you don't want to hook the ground and power together on the same connector. What it's showing is to cut a short piece off each of the provided power and ground wires, for each put those two wires in a connector, and then another connector on the remaining short end. On one horn you'd have two wires on each power and ground connection and the second power and ground wire over to the other horn. Pretty basic parallel connection.

Thanks! I was confused (not difficult on electrical issues) and your response is appreciated! I was thinking along those lines and your confirmation was what I needed.

Hoping FF can clean that write up a little for us non-electrical folks.
