View Full Version : Rear lower control arms

Hello, pg 66 of the truck manual states to use the M14 bolts to atatch the large end of the lower control arm to the rear axle. The holes in the rear axle is M14 and the holes in the bushings is M12. There is no M12 bolts in the kit. I am guessing the wrong bushings were pressed in. How do we fix this?

You're talking about the metal bushings that are pressed into the polyurethane bushings? I checked mine and M14 is correct. Should be a pretty easy fix for them to send you the correct metal bushings. Assuming the correct poly bushings are installed.
But I'd call or email directly. This area of the forum is not actively monitored. Even though that's what the title says.

Thanks Edward.... Yes I am in contact with them. I think the wrong poly bushings are installed. I supose you could drill them out but there wont be much bushing left.....
