So I’ve finally gotten to paint! For anyone with a garage big enough to shoot it all at once or for anyone that is sending it out for final, I recommend building a body jig. It was easy, 2 12' and 3 8’ 2x4s and a couple of saw horses. I did the seams on the car to line it all up. Then primer and blocking on the jig outside in the yard so I didn’t get overspray in the garage or on the chassis. Wet sanding was easy this way as well. Aaron, who sprayed the base and clear said it worked out perfect because every seem was exposed and it required very little masking and no overspray to worry about. I transported mine in a 16' high cube truck, I’m sure Uhall has similar. I would provide the dimensions to make this, but something tells me if your building your own car, you can assemble this easily. Hope it helps.
