I do! I bought a set for my coupe.

I haven't fit the body (obviously) but so far they're pretty good for the money. they balanced out well and were true. they are on par with most mid-level "forged" wheels out there. so far I would totally buy another set without hesitation. I am running 18x10.5 +22 all around, I anticipate needing a ~1" spacer to flush them out with the body when I reach that point. I will probably run a higher quality spacer like H&R or Eibach.

Did you buy direct from ESR? If so, how were they to deal with? How do the wheels stack up against the ffr halibrands for quality?
Thanks!

Mark,
You should find out what method of manufacturing FFR buys from China, and what standards do they comply with. A couple of months ago an FFR wheel broke 270 degrees of the center out of the rim, inadvertently rolling unmanned across a lawn into a tree. The thin fracture was grained like a casting, not a forging.

Hey Mark, I bought direct from ESR. I had no interaction with them because I bought them online and everything went smooth so there was no need for contact.
I can't speak to the quality comparison of the Halibrand wheels because I've never seen them. All I can say is that in my experience as someone who ran a performance shop and has mounted more wheels/tires than I care to remember, they are a well manufactured wheel that I have no concerns about using with anything from daily driving to moderate track use.

Nice selection, good prices, they look great. Wish there were a few wider widths. 17x12 maybe.
Wonder how they'll hold up on the track with Hoosiers.

I have a set of the SR08 18x10.5. They seem on the same level as most other wheels

Can you post what you're running on the front ? What backspace and offset are you using?
thanks!

Mine is a rather unique setup because I'm doing a custom front suspension and a square wheel setup. As a result I wouldn't take what I'm doing as usable on the 'stock' Coupe.
The wheels in the picture are ET22 which is roughly 6.6" backspacing on the 10.5" wide wheel

Hey, these are neat wheels- and you can get them in custom offsets and avoid the spacers.
What I find is that for a wheel 11" wide you need a 5" backspace (negative offset) for the rear and 5 or 5.5" backspace for the fronts on a 10" wheel.

I was thinking the same. I'm trying to compile backspace and offset information using the halibrand wheels then factoring in a 1.25" rear offset which I believe most people use on a Gen3 at least for the rear wheels. Was hoping to find the right wheel with the offset that would avoid spacers.

I am running 18x10's on the front with 5.5" bs. 275 35 18 fit perfect with no rubbing
18x12 on the rear with a 335 30 18 and the tire did rub the angled bar which is known issue.
I ended up notching out bar and added a 1/4" spacer and it seems ok but will know more after the next auto cross.
All tires are flush with fenders and not protruding out and looks excellen

Rsnake, so a 18x11 on the rear would not have the issue of rubbing against the angled bar ?

It's really the tire that rubs the angled 1" square tube on the Coupe chassis, not a wheel issue. The larger the diameter of rear tire, the closer it will be to the tube at static height. So it doesn't take much compression before it contacts the tube. Adding width is another factor. A rear tire that is 26.5" tall or more, in addition to being 325/335/345 width, would be worst case scenario. If you want to maximize width, try to stay under 26" diameter.
You can use a 12" wheel, and 315 tire, and avoid contact with the bar if you have exactly the right offset/backspace (around -25 to -27mm offset). Forgestar F14 is available in an Ultra Deep Concave (UDC) that allows up to a -50 offset. They're made to order, so you tell them what you want and they machine them to that offset spec, and send them to you. About $600/wheel. It's one of the few (only?) 1-piece offerings that allows custom negative offsets, but only available in 19" diameter which stinks because the tires end up being taller diameter. There are multi-piece wheels too of course, but usually even more $$$.
Personally, I notched the angled bar. Photos in my build thread, linked in my signature below. Currently running 19x11" with 26.5" diameter 325/30s, and planning for 18x12" with 25.5" diameter 315/30s.
