After staring at my progress for nearly two years....I just noticed that the bottoms ends of the dash are different driver side (a small radius and then straight across) to passenger side (angles up and then straight across). Dispensing with the obvious, that I am apparently not very observant, any insight into why the dash is designed this way? And if no technical reason, do people trim the ends to match? TY

Are you speaking of the top metal dash hoop as compared to the radius of the dash? If so the top of the dash at the center is at the top of the hoop. The sides of the dash set above the hoop.

Or are you talking about the left over corners of the dash?

Sorry for not being clearer, I am referring to the bottom edges as they start to curve back to the hinges
