Hi - I am in the middle of a build of a complete kit, in which I specified an hydraulic clutch. The pedal box is great. I note however that I don't have fittings or brake line to connect master cylinder and hydraulic throw-out bearing. Is this typically included in the complete kit?

I am hampered a bit by not having a parts list to do inventory against. I have the packing list, which is not the same: There are a number of [somewhat significant] things that are missing, and not on the POL or packing list. I would think hard lines and fittings would be part of a complete kit ordered with an hydraulic clutch. Is this the case?

By the way, there are no instructions I can find in the manual or optional parts installation links on the FFR website regarding this item. If such a section were in the manual, I suspect it would start with "Here are the parts and tools you need for this section ... " So, flying blind here. All advice appreciated!!

The parts needed to plumb the hydraulic clutch set up are going to be specific to each car. It will depend on the trans/clutch / throwout bearing being used. Who ever provides the clutch/t o bearing parts should be able to steer you in the right direction.

Our kit didn't come with a line for between the throwout bearing and master cylinder. We had to order that part.

After doing hard lines for the brakes, we ended up just ordering a custom flexible hose for the clutch. It was SO much easier than the hard lines!

All you need is a banjo fitting for master cylinder and once engine installed a single braided line from that fitting to clutch line at bell housing (custom length), other line is for bleeding, see pics156615156616

I like that banjo fitting! It looks clean and gives you a nice 90° turn and allows for rotation. That is a great solution.

We ended up just ordering the hose with a 1/8 NPT end (that is what my master cylinder is) and screwed in directly to the master cylinder. My throw out bearing was a 4AN but I know some have a 6AN fitting.

Thanks for all the responses guys.

I sourced my engine through factory fives engines (aka Blueprint). It was specific for the Coupe (e.g.: oil pan, reduced height air cleaner). Including an appropriate line would not seem to be too much of a stretch for a complete kit. Hence my initial query.

I will likely go with a braided line - now to figure out the best routing :-)

Have a great weekend!!
