I am considering NOT to stripe the small area at the bottom of the front body lip. Just thinking that with the chrome bumper hoop and overriders....the eyes will be distracted to the body lip stripes. Yea it may seem trivial but with sooooo many opinions out there, I certainly do value other thoughts. Would not having these stripes seem odd? If it matters,,,,,I am going black with a dark silver stripe. Thanks in advance.

Personal opinion - I think the stripes below the cowl do not detract from the bumper. I think with your color combo, it'll provide a nice pop.

Just to clarify - I'm for the stripes below the cowl.

Just the opposite, I think it'll look goofy with out the stripes following through.

I would do the stripes all the way down. I remember a few years back when the only mustangs that had the two stripes all the way down were the Shelby GT 350 and GT 500. That is what seperated the "look" from the regular GT... plus sound, performance, front grill, etc.

My (admittedly minority) opinion is that the bigger distraction is the straight lines of the stripes themselves. The Cobra body is so sexy and gorgeous because of its luscious and sensual curves. There isn't a straight line on the car. It's the curves that give it it's compelling appeal. I think the stripes distract, and take your eyes of the main attraction, the curvy body lines.

BTW, I wish my red car was solid black. I think that is as stunning as a Cobra can get.

Well, you did ask for opinions ... :)
