I think the part on the right is the clutch block-off plate if you're not using a hydraulic clutch. I don't know what the plate on the left is for. Any ideas?

Mounts on top of the brake master cylinder mounts to stiffen up the whole apparatus.
I thought that might be it. But the 4 socket head bolts are fairly tight. Thanks.
