On my complete roadster kit I am planning on going with the Breeze Power Steering Kit and also Mike Forte hydraulic external clutch. Having trouble after talking to them if I can cancel those options that are available to buy on the FFR order sheet. Adding up those 2 options is a little money that I can save for elsewhere if not needed.
Also, I read a lot of things with the FFR vintage wiper kit and people changing or modifying. Is that too an option where I can upgrade to a different company instead of FFR?

Thank you in advance and sorry if these questions are silly. And, I am not trying to degrade FFR because there are a ton of options that I am going with.

There is nothing wrong with the FFR wiper kit. Stick with it. Also on the other options you mentioned. FFR offers both but if you want to buy them elsewhere, just email them and delete them from the order. No big deal.

I istalled the FFR wiper kit on my car and am quite pleased with it. Now I haven't been caught in the rain but used it for 20 minutes with water on the windshield to test and it worked very well. Just make sure you lubricate the drive cable completely and the wheel boxes with a light grease like white lube or lithium grease. Rainex is the suggested wiper replacement.

Without being too specific -- because I just don't know in either case -- make sure you're comparing apples to apples. The Factory Five hydraulic clutch option I believe is for an internal hydraulic throwout bearing. Which is different than what Mike sells. Plus I'm pretty sure the FF option only includes the master cylinder. You add the throwout bearing. For the power steering, I'm not aware that Breeze sells a PS rack any longer. Only the pump, hoses, etc. FF's is typically the complete setup including the rack. So the prices might be different because the content is different.

For the wiper kit, I believe FF is finally selling a setup with all useable parts. Used to be pretty common to have to replace the wheel boxes because it was really hard to get the supplied ones to work properly. Been there done that. My understanding is the current kit is much better. I've installed the Specialty Power Windows WWK2 Complete Universal Wiper Kit on my Coupe and now my Truck build. The quality is good and the price is a bit less. But not sure how suitable for a Roadster. In general, parts are larger.

Thank you. I didn't realize Breeze doesn't sell the PS kit anymore.

I'm installing the Specialty Power Windows WWK2 kit in my roadster. Edwardb is right, the wiper motor is quite a bit larger than the FFR unit. It fits fine in my build but it would be problematic if planning to install a heater
