Greetings,
I got my kit from Stewart last week and I’ve been busy inventory’ing and getting everything reasonably organized. I’m really through the roof about this project I really don’t have the words to express how awesome it is to finally be getting started. Pre-delivery I built a body buck using a combination of the schematics in the manual as well as some resources here and everything fits very nicely. However, I noticed in the manual they give you the “store on the ground” instructions that include putting a piece under the dash area to support it. Also if you look at the picture of a body buck in the manual it has one too. My buck just has the front and rear profiles right now. It’s going to be stored for quite a while so I’m wondering if I should incorporate that dash support with buck. Thanks in advance!

you can just stick a 2x4 between the front and rear cowl to prevent sagging of the mid portion of the body.

I needed to transport mine to an offsite storage unit and it was too bouncy without supporting the dash so I cut a section of a foam roller to support the dash.
