I am having some horse power withdrawals. I have Gen II Coyote with a Gen III intake and Lund tune. I am feeling that I need a little more power. So where are all my Coyote builders that have some add on's. Pushing towards Comp 1500 cams or a blower, although the blower might be a little much traction wise. Before all you power experts chime in and say leave it alone and you will shoot your eye out, please just keep those comments to yourself. For reference I have a 2016 Z06/Z07, 2021 Tesla MYP as my daily drivers.

I love the "you'll shoot your eye out". I daily a hellcat in the summer and get the vibe that people think one of these with a 302 is "more than enough". Hopefully people with some knowledge on the topic chime in, because I know I'll be looking for more power after as season or so with a coyote. But, I gotta build mine first. Heck, I don't even get my kit until July.

If you want crazy power, I'd go for a Whipple :)

I haven't driven mine yet, but what's your HP/weight ratio in your existing vehicles?
are you expecting more speed? traction? freak-out-factor?
maybe traction control would give you what you need - that is a whole ball of wax to investigate, things like a new AEM ECU and program it... would be a different vehicle altogether IMHO

I can relate.
My Coyote is rated 500+ hp and it does not feel as good as my other rides. I have a 3.73 IRS sitting on the work bench to replace the 3.55 I am now running. I think my issue is lack of low end tq. The closer I run to 3K rpm the more funner it gets. Might be a winter project, so cannot give any input yet.
I do not think the increased cruising rpm will bother me. The engine is smooth all the way to red line.
Good luck,
We all know there is a lot of upside to a coyote. So why not do both the cams and the blower? Get creative. Please keep in mind that we'll all want to see videos!

oh - and look at Modular Motorsports to build up the Coyote!

If Ford Performance sources the crank for a 5.2, maybe an option? The aluminator 5.2L XS is rated at 580. That would be a 100 or more HP over your current configuration. I would imagine the stroker crank, massaged heads and new CAMs would put you in the same ballpark.
High torque in these cars can be a recipe for disaster. If you remember Saul from San Diego who built one of the first supercharged Coyote MK4s. Unfortunately we lost him from the community when he put the car into a tree.
Whatever you decide to do, be safe.

Toss a whipple on it and call it done. Guys have made 1000hp with one.
Be careful!

Unfortunately, power parts for the coyote are rather expensive. New cams and springs are horrendously expensive. And it's a lot of work to change them, too.
Spend the same money, a lot less time, and get it done in less time.

Good luck,
Swapping out the 3.55 to 3.73 if definitely an option. Although they have doubled in price since I built mine 2 years ago.

That is always a fear. Most of my hope is to get more mid range. A side by side roll with my bosses GT350 starting at 50 mph, I barely pulled away. Maybe I was milking it too much worrying about breaking traction, but when i hit WOT, I was barely pulling on him.

Unless you’re talking about an old GT350 that sounds pretty good to me. The 2016 GT350 is 4.3 sec to 60mph, 12.3 in the 1/4 mile and the 2020 is 4 sec, and 10.7.
