Since my complete kit will not be complete until April 2022 I keep reading and trying to educate my uneducated self. After reading even m ore threads (More than when I went to College), a couple ideas ran through my little brain. My frame is coming bare and I am going to PC it locally with a color I still haven't chosen. Has anybody drilled ALL the panels and NOT attached them to the frame (just Clecos) and then sent all the panels and frame to PC at the same time? Not worried about matching colors or anything like that, just the OCD in me thinks might be better job if at least all the holes are drilled before PC. I understand there will be many other holes to drill, but all those will be covered up and protected.
Also, with the Breeze fan shroud and upper and lower mounts, can I cut the FFR mounts that I read are in the way BEFORE PC the frame? I emailed FFR this question but haven't gotten a response yet.
Thank you in advance

You would probably need to redrill the holes on the frame as the PC would likely build up and prevent the rivet from fitting.

My only recommendation is to get the manual and read it a few times.
You'll become familiar with all of the parts which will make it easier to do the inventory when your kit comes on.
The other thing I'd recommend is to watch the Factory Five Assembly Videos and then watch them again just before your kit arrives.
The first video starts the string.

This is exactly right. You will need to re-drill all the holes in the frame if you drill before PC. IMO, you're best off making any frame mods and cleaning up weld spatter, etc. then PC the frame. Then, drill all your sheetmetal and send that off for PC. Yes, if you're planning to use the Breeze upper and lower mounts then you should cut off the radiator mounts before PC'ing the frame. I did mine afterwards and touched up the area with spray paint that I got from the powder coat shop that's color-matched to my PC, but it would be better to do it beforehand.

Good point. Never thought of that. Thank you
