When I started buying parts for a Roadster build back in 2000, I bought a radiator for a 93 Mustang Cobra. I took it out of the box for the first time yesterday.
Way too wide. Who sells a radiator that will fit and work for a high horsepower 460?? Factory Five is out of stock/back ordered.

Take a look at michimoto. They have a radiator that fits the mk4 perfectly.

I think that radiator is too wide. There is only 24 inches between the 1 inch tubes that support the Quick jack mounts..

The FF radiator is 27.5" wide. It's only 24" between the top supports; the radiator will be beneath that.

Radiator mounts below the tubes, not between them.

Ditto on Jeff's comment...I used a Champion 4 core unit. Only a 347 in Canada so radiator is anything but overloaded although this past summer we had unusually hot and humid weather.

The 1999 instruction manual is not very clear. The instructions from Breeze Automotive for the Upper Hinge and Lower Radiator Support
was a big help. The pictures in this thread made it clear on the install.

If you want something to get you going till yours comes in this is what I did. Like you I have been waiting for a radiator since August when I picked up my car. I looked at a bunch of options that the guys on the forum threw out but I didn't want to spend a ton since I know the radiator from FFR will be here eventually. I looked at a bunch of things from Summit and Jegs and Michimoto but they are all big bucks. So I looked at Rock Auto and sourced an 81 Mustang with a 4.6 for $95 and it fit perfectly. The angles of the hose bibs are not right because of the angle that the radiator being laid down in our cars. However the stainless radiator piping from FFR would work, but I had bought the stainless radiator pipes from Boig for my car a while back, which came with hoses. the one that didn't work was the top hose, which I went to my local NAPA and looked through his hoses and picked one that had the angles I needed, and cut out the piece I needed form that hose. I was really amazed at how easy it all came together.[/QUOTE]
