Welcome Jeff, you're going to have a blast. What is the lead-time now-a-days from FFR for the 33? When I got mine it was pretty good, around 3 months (ordered at the end of June '20 had it in my garage by end Sept '20).
I finished a puzzle last night with an older truck on it (Its a Fall / Winter thing to do to keep me busy when I'm not working on vehicles) any my wife noted she really loved that truck in it so I said you know, FFR has a 35 truck kit just like it that would be cool to build some time. I pulled up FFRs website and showed it to her and I was thinking she would just blow off that comment but instead she said " Wow, that's really cool, do some research on it, price it out how you'd like to build it, and once you finish the 55 F100 Pickup you're currently working on, we may have to seriously think about ordering it.".
I love being married to a woman who appreciates classic cars / trucks.

Congratulations! Sounds like a great build. You won't regret going with IRS. Rebuilding your own AOD? Now that's hardcore.

Nice work on the 55. Very nice suspension upgrade. I had a 52 F3. I really love those trucks but they are not comfortable without a lot of investment. I left the I beam on mine because it was a 3/4 ton truck and did not want to alter it. Had the original flathead in it and it ran great but 80hp for that big truck took a while to get going. I really like the FFR truck but I know I would not fit in that one.
I went and looked at a member truck on here and it was cool as hell. Going to be fun to work on something I do not have to cut out rust and sand blast and etc.....
I have did a lot of early mustangs back in the day.

We have way too many mustangs right now (65 coupe, 66 cone, 67 cone, two 68 coupes, 69 cone, 2016 GT/CS Conv.), my wife loves them.
If you've never done fiberglass, the 33 will add another bit of experience in your tool belt. I found that I really liked working with fiberglass when I built my 33. Messy as all get out when it comes time to sand / prep for paint but fixing issues / tweaking during the build & mockup is pretty straight forward.

A problem indeed James!! :)
Soon to be 8 actually since my wife just lept over to the dark side and ordered an e-Mustang. Should be here in Dec. I told her fine, but I will never refer to it as a "Mustang" or a "Mach" since those two words should NEVER be associated with an electric vehicle. We agreed to refer to it going forward as "emm".
........Sigh!!

One of the bonuses from working from home is that I get the drive the fun cars more. I have been driving the hot rod 2-3 times a week. With the terrible roads around my house, having the IRS is huge.

Good to know. Funny I picked this up at the freight company yesterday. You can tell I am excited to get going. I at least have to something to look at.

Congrats indeed.
And +1 regarding rebuilding your own automatic transmission.
Trans and paint are the only two aspects of the build that I won't take on for myself when the time comes.

Plan on doing both. The only thing I may out source is the long block. Only because it seems to be just a cheap to buy one these days. I have not sources parts in a long time. I am shocked on prices of parts. I am keeping my eye out if someone post one around me.

Congrats Jeff. Sounds like you pretty much bought what I did except for the engine/tranny.
Nice to see you have the IRS.

Congrats on getting your kit on order!
My advice would be to get that long block on order sooner than later. My engine build has taken ~2 years to complete, the longest lead time factors being the machine shop work, and the heads/EFI deliveries.
Engine piece part deliveries are horrendous right now, especially if they're performance grade.
